Description:
A desert landscape is the main motif of this 35-mm slide show.  On the left side of the image sits a white sculpture, a witness to the shadow of the vulture hovering above. Light from just over the horizon is refracted through several mirrors. On the right is a zoetrope lying uselessly on its side, within it are six images of an hour glass. The slide show contains 160 consecutively animated images. There is a 16 second dissolve which transitions each of the images to the next. The zoetrope slowly rotates clockwise, animating the hour glass flipping over and over, shifting its grains of sand.
