Public piece produced for the children's ward's waiting room at Malmö University Hospital, Malmö, Sweden, 2008.
This work is intended to create a diversion to the waiting room doldrums. Cabinet was made to generate and excite an interest in worldly phenomenas. In the down-the-rabbit-hole experience of this cabinet small versions of earlier pieces of mine coexist with new material. I like to imagine the piece as a sculptural encyclopedia where science and the supernatural are reflections in the same mirror, and truth is nothing more than an animated future.
